Obtaining a career in film in Hollywood is no easy task. Part of the problem is there is a substantial amount of competition out there looking for the same job. But the great news is, those who are persistent, persevering, and committed often gets the position.
If you believe that a degree from a prestigious university or an individual inside the industry can help get you in, think again because these two are not assurances. 1. Always make yourself available even when it is for no cost.
True, even if it does not sound soothing, but it is important that you make yourself accessible with little or no pay at all. Those who are in a position of doing this can get positions working for numerous film and television companies faster than those who require for pay. It may not be big but it will surely get you within the circulation and permit you to meet different people while learning the tricks of the trade. 2. Keep the Pride in the house:

Every year you will find yourself thinking you know it all and by the end of the next year, you’ll quickly realize you did not know a thing!
4. Be Persistent:
I already talked about leaving your ego at home and being patient, but the does not necessarily equate to you giving up your dreams. You must ensure that each day you are performing and learning something that will take you closer to achieving your ambitions. To move forward you can choose to make connections, call people and companies, and even send letters or e-mails to various movie outfits.
5. Respect yourself and others.
You’re going to come across dozens (if not hundreds) of different types of career in film in Hollywood — many of which you wouldn’t dream of doing. Nevertheless, those who ARE doing them might actually enjoy what they are doing. There is a chance that the individual you are making fun of might be the very individual who can support you.
