A Film Connection Scam?
Many times, when you are a revolutionary in your particular field, there are those that do not like upset things as they are. Jimi Petulla, the person responsible for the existence of Film Connection is currently being targeted from all angles mainly because he presented a different form of educational system.
There are lots of internet sites found on the internet that are pinning Jimi’s name beside the so-called Film Connection scam. This is an unfortunate part of being a prosperous trailblazer. Those that believe you are throwing darts at the traditional educational system will rise up and call an educational institution that has been prosperous for nearly 30 years, a scam. Unfortunately, due to the popularity of the internet, information can spread from one person to another like lightning and anyone can say anything they want and those who read it can or cannot accept is as true.
In order to hear the side of Jimi Petulla, Movie Maker Magazine conducted an interview with him and asked him queries regarding the courses offered. Recognizing that this Film Connection scam can grow like a cancer, Jimi explains thoroughly about his school and how it can be the best choice for anyone involved in the film business.
Jennifer M. Wood, the host, made a realization that the Film Connection is based on the mentor-apprentice concept that has existed since the Renaissance period where one is trained by an expert and is eventually hired by that person. Back then this concept has been successful and it has worked well for the students at Film Connection.
Jimi said that Film Connection which is a department of Career Connection doesn’t do anything more than paving the way for aspiring individuals to land internship options in several film production businesses. He further testifies that thousands of beginners have found positions in film, radio and TV companies and stations worldwide.
The interviewer, Jennifer Wood, soon learned that history has shown that most people who are very successful in the entertainment business, did not come out of schools with diplomas. Most of these individuals started out by taking odd jobs, they were virtually at the bottom of the ladder and worked hard until they were at the top and living the life they’ve always wanted.
The old saying, “Those who can do; those who can’t teach” is very true in this scenario. Pupils are studying under those who live their career choice every day. Students are taught by working experts who have agreed to mentor one of Film Connection’s pupils. These experts do not plainly teach they are also showing the students how to handle the devices and cope with the pressure in the business. Those that call this situation a Film Connection scam are certainly frauds themselves and don’t have any knowing of true learning and coaching.
